Dee Holcomb from Oak Grove store was the Managing Partner that nominated Wild Souls for a foundation grant ! $10,000 to fund an actionable project on their wish list.
Wild Souls applied for our wish of the Raptor Educational Fund. Our Wishlist included program supplies to strengthen our Birds of prey program to educate the public on the importance of Federal Protected birds, supplies for our birds of prey rehabilitation program we could only dream to be able to afford!
Mike Valenti and Kevin Reichenbach presented Wild Souls a check on behalf of KFC Foundation
What a blessing for our Raptor Program! Wild Souls operates on donations. It’s rare to receive any grant. This is the largest donation amount we have received. This truly made our wishes come true to fund educational programs about the importance of wildlife, our environment and wildlife rehabilitation patients. Yes, we are still crying about this blessing!
“This is so generous I have no words other than thank you” as Founder April Hoffman covers her face in tears.
