Wild Souls hotline educates and provides strategies for reuniting, humane evictions, and intake for Wildlife Rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife. During the call, a Wild Souls Team member will speak with the finder and if transportation is necessary, inform you on exactly who and what time a Wild Souls Transport Team will arrive onsite. State and Federal Regulations are followed so the wildlife that was found will receive the best legal care.
Wild Souls is Permitted by The Department of Conservation for Wildlife Rehabilitation of Native Missouri Mammals and Transports Federal Permitted Raptors to Federal Permitted Facilities,
Wild Souls is a 501c3 Nonprofit providing a public service to humanely rescue, and rehabilitate native wildlife mammals and release them safely back into their natural habitat. We educate the general public on how to problem-solve native wildlife conflicts and aid conservation by offering advice to the public on Reuniting Strategies, humane wildlife evictions, exclusions, or on-site support. This helps stop wildlife kidnapping or unnecessary wildlife Rehabilitation by determining true candidates for Rehabilitation. Wild Souls average 200 calls weekly, 900 miles traveled a MONTH! We are very supportive of other nonprofits and offer volunteer programs for those under 18 years of age. Our transport team is in place to assist rescues on location to transport wildlife to our facility or to the nearest species specialist in the event of immediate emergency assistance for particular species. Free of charge.
IT IS ILLEGAL TO CARE FOR WILDLIFE WITHOUT A PERMIT
